SELPA - Notice of Public Hearing

The ABC Unified School District /Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) will hold a public hearing to adopt the annual budget plan and annual service plan for 2022-23. The hearing will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Board Room, ABC Unified School District Office, 16700 Norwalk Blvd. Cerritos, CA. 90703. Any interested party may make an oral or written presentation in the public meeting.

Summer Elementary Enrichment Program

The SEE - Summer Elementary Enrichment Program will offer virtual enrichment classes over a 14-day period beginning on July 5, 2022. Registration opens on 05/18/22 at 7:00 PM.

Schools of Choice Lottery Results are here

Please click on the link to view your child's lottery results if you applied for Schools of Choice. If you have been accepted by a school, you will have only 48 hours to accept the seat or the system will automatically decline your seat for you.

ABC Schools of Choice 2022-2023

Schools of Choice (SOC) is the annual open enrollment process is when parents/guardians wish to register/admit/enroll their student(s) at a school other than the designated school that is in their attendance area within their district. SOC is done via online application beginning March 1st where students are selected based on a random, unbiased, “lottery” process. SOC results depend on many factors including pupil enrollment by school and grade level, district capacity, and the total number of applicants vs. openings. On Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 6:30 PM the office of Child Welfare and
Attendance will be presenting a Schools of Choice Parent Information Live
Webinar. If this is your first time applying for Schools of Choice, you are
encouraged to attend this presentation where you will receive information on
how to apply.

If you are not able to attend the Schools of Choice Parent Information
Meeting, it will be recorded and posted on the district website to view.
