Transitional Kindergarten

New Student Registration

2022-2023 School Year

Entrance Age - 4-5 years old between September 2, 2022 and February 2, 2023 for Transitional Kindergarten (T.K.)
You must register for T.K. at your home resident school. If your resident school does not have a T.K. Program, the ABC District Office will place your child at a site that does have TK.

Kindergarten - 6th Grade

Student Registration Information - 4 EASY STEPS

STEP 1:

Online registration for home school students. Please complete our form using the following link.

STEP 2:

After you complete this form, there will be confirmation message that will appear with a new student online registration link This link will be different from above (https://parentportal.abcusd.us/registration/). Please use this link to complete your student online registration.

STEP 3:

Parents registering their child(ren) for transitional kindergarten through 6th grade must provide the following documentation:

A) Parent Identification:

State Issued Drivers License with current address
State issued Identification Card with current address

B) Proof of Age (Acceptable documents below):

Original Birth Certificate
Passport

C) Immunization Records (Must list month, day and year):

Polio - 4 doses
DPT or any combination - 5 doses
Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) - 2 doses
Hepatitis B - 3 doses
Varicella - 2 dose

D) Proof of Residency

We will only accept utility bills with the parent or guardian's name with the residing address given. Bills must be dated within the last two (2) months. Present two of the following items listed below for residency verification:

Current Electricity Bill
Current Gas Bill
Current Water Bill
Current Trash Bill

E) Online Registration Forms

Please print all the following documents from the online registration when prompted.

- Completed Registration Confirmation Sheets
- Health and Development History Form
- New Student Medical Information Questionnaire
- New Student Supplemental Questionnaire
- Student Authorization Form
- Any other form that was prompted when completing your registration online.

STEP 4:

You're almost there!

A). Please scan and email copies of your Signed Confirmation that you printed out at the end of the Aeries Registration, Original Birth Certificate, Immunization Records, 2 current Utility Bills in the homeowners name (any combination of Gas, Electricity, Water or Trash) and parents valid Drivers License or State ID. If you are unable to scan and email any of the required documents please contact our school at (562) 229-7905.

You MUST complete BOTH links as well as scan and upload all documentation requested in order to be registered with our school. A confirmation email will sent to you after our office has reviewed your registration file.
